*Heaven* on a bun, on the plate, . . . the first time I had it plain, not on a roll . . . ooooooh myyyyyy goooooosh. These are so friggen awesome, and Gary, who isn’t vegetarin loves these too. They are great on kaiser rolls. No extra sauces or anything needed. The box says to heat them for 3.5 to 4 minutes, but our microwave cooks them in 2 minutes just fine (don’t over cook them or any vegetarian “meat” for that matter)
It’s almost like a bbq texture, no bone (obviously) with a delicious hickory sauce . . . . mmmmmm . . . yumminess!
Our local grocery store was out of these almost all last week, so either these are reeeeeealy popular or they need to get more shipments in more often. They stocked up when I went today so we now have four boxes in our freezer and I’m sure I will be getting more next week, since they only have 2 packs per box, but they are OH SO worth it!

eeeee! sooooo cute!
I got an e-mail forwarded from a friend, and it was SOOOO cute, that instead of just forwarding it to a few people (which I’ll still do) I thought I would post it.

At 120 degrees in Australia, it was so hot for a week, that koalas were asking people for water. It has never been seen before:

One went to a house to try to hide from the heat and to get a bit of shade and here’s what happened when the owner gave him something to drink:

eeeee! soooo super cute!!

Well, I just got back from dinner with “the girls” for restaurant week. We selected ‘The Mint’. I can’t say a bad thing about it. Delightful food, great presentation, and lovely atmosphere. A little pricier as restaurants go compared to some of the other places downtown, but not ridiculous. The service was great, not rushed, and not slow (though we were talking a lot -haha) and free valet parking. This would be a great location for a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, venue for a party . . . definitely worth checking out. http://www.themintrestaurant.com/
Thinking about an evening out with some fabulous friends or your sweetie? Check out Downtown Raleigh’s Restaurant Week all this week from August 24th – 30th. My friend Katherine told me about it last Thursday/Friday(?)
You get a choice of restaurants with menus specifically for this event. Some have a fixed menu, some have a fixed menu where you can choose your three courses. Check out the participating restaurants under the ‘Restaurants’ link, and you can check out the menus.
I’m going with a bunch of girls to a restaurant I haven’t tried yet, but I will definitely post about it since I have heard good things about the food and atmosphere, but that it was fruffy and overpriced. So for $30, I am all about trying it out with the girls 🙂

I don’t know what I think about when I sleep, and I don’t hear what’s going on when I’m asleep. But evidently I grind my teeth and I never knew it until Gary told me one day. So, the last time I was at my dentist, I got fitted for a night guard and I got to keep my teeth 😀 I had a set of these taken when I got my braces oh-so-long-ago, but my dentist at the time kept it on file, and then I went to a “grown up” dentist so I never got to see or keep them. I also got some whitening trays made from these baby’s so I should be all set for now. So check out my grill . . . my dentist says I have a beautiful smile. Thanks mom and dad for the braces . . . they were a great investment.

I was at a local gas station filling up the o’le tank-a-roo, and as I was watching the numbers slowly quickly rise higher and higher, and I noticed this itsy bitsy spider IN BETWEEN the glass. I felt sorry for the dead little thing just hanging there and wondered what he must have felt with no place to go, but at the same time I wondered more about how he got in there in the first place. I guess this itsy bitsy spider will not be going up the spout again . . . but hopefully he did one last time into spider heaven?

I’m not a big gamer, but I do get into games for a while. I played World of Warcraft for a while, but then I kind of got tired of it. I started it back up again for a while but then stopped again. Gary on the other hand is a gamer guy, but usually plays one game at a time for long (loooong) periods of time.
SO, several months ago, before I started WoW up again, I was researching games and found one I really wanted to play. Only thing – it wasn’t out yet.
Time passed, I played WoW, and then stopped, and kind of forgot about Aion. WELL, today Gary totally surprised me and got me the pre-order trial and I am SO super excited about it. Well, right now I’m waiting for it to download. And waiting . . . and waiting . . . and waiting . . .
I KNOW it’s more cost effective, etc, etc, and they are always updating, etc, etc, and it’s beta and not out yet, etc, ect, but I sooooo want to play already.
ok, well I’m at 24% download, so I am going to go read up on it, but check out the trailer (there is a short advertizement you have to sit thru) and I’ll let you know how it is . . . er . . . that is if I’m not too busy playing 😛
And the Aion website has screenshots and videos too if you want to check that out.
Oh yeah, and I’m not a good blogger, but I’m going to try and post more. I have a bunch to post, but I don’t take the time to write. So leave comments . . . that gets me to blog more *wink* 😉
My friend Adrienne was in town for a few days, and we took a quick trip to the mountains. We went to Linville Caverns, Emerald Village to pan for gems, Grandfather Mountain, and The Blowing Rock. We fit a lot into a day and spent the evening chillin’ out by the pool, reading, and relaxing. There were so many great views of the mountains and great cool, non-humid weather.

Bath and Body works has been having a lot of sales . . . I really like their antibacterial gel soaps, so I added to my collection in the closet and I slowly go through them.
Gary’s mom told me about one of their scents “kitchen lemon” which is one of my faves, mostly because if you’ve been cutting onion or garlic, its so hard to get that smell off your fingers.
Kitchen lemon gets rid of the smell. I haven’t tried to see if any of the other scents does the trick as well, but I got one for a friend of mine who cooks a lot of food and always with onion and now she’s a user 🙂
I was actually shooting some otherproducts and these happened to be in the way so I went ahead and snapped a quick shot for fun ^_^
I think the scents are tropical passionfruit, nectarine mint, and a basil something
