I love wedding dresses, and I Love cathedral length veils, so graceful and beautiful. This past weekend, Autumn and Josh got married with a beautiful church ceremony, and a fun reception after, and while I knew Autumn was going to be an absolutely gorgeous bride, she was even more radiant on her wedding day. A few of my favourite images from her bridal portrait session taken a few months ago before the cold weather set in 🙂

~ Autumn and Josh : Leading Up To . . .
This weekend I had a super fun engagement session with Autumn and Josh and the weather was awesome. Josh’s side of the family has history at UNC, so we started at the Old Carolina Well . . .
Autumn’s side of the family has history at NC State, so we then went to the Bell Tower to get some shots there . . .
I just Love the feeling of this photo . . .
We had a little fun outside of this night club . . .
and then we ended the session where they met, at the Edenton Street Church, and where their fabulous wedding will be in a few months!
Isn’t she going to be a gorgeous bride!?
Jessica and Clay’s Wedding
Jessica and Clay got married at Mount Moriah Baptist Church on Saturday and I shot with Jessica Key.
Clay is in the Marines and they had the military arch of swords/sabers
The swords are my fave, I love the intricate inlay
I loved the bride and groom cakes! There was a Meredith cheer girl and the NCSU Wolf. Cakes by Cinda’s Creative Cakes
Erica and David’s Wedding
This Saturday, I shot with Jessica Key for Erica and David’s Wedding at the Hilton Raleigh-Durham at Research Triangle Park in Durham.
The wedding coordinator was http://www.stressfreeweddings.net
Erica’s dress was so pretty on her
the make-up artist’s brushes
the back was so pretty laced up
this is probably my fave!
though this one is really sweet too
SparkLers!
Kelly’s Flowers
My friend Kelly does flowers for her friends weddings and they look gorgeous! Her friend’s wedding is today, but I went to Kelly’s house last night before going to Karaoke with some other friends of ours. I got some shots of her flowers because she may be starting a business doing flowers for weddings professionally.
I Love details like this!
All of the flowers for the reception tables
flowers for the cocktail tables
I think water droplets on flowers make them look fresh
and Kelly with her beautiful finished work
Laura and Patrick at Duke Chapel
This Saturday was super busy! I shot IMPACT 2007 with Stanford and NC State social e-challenge workshop and then straight to Duke Chapel and Duke Gardens to second shoot with Ana of Studio One. See her photos from the wedding here, and these are some of my shots from the day:
fixing the dress
details on the brides bouquet
the point of a second shooter is to get angles the main photographer can’t get
the flowers were so fragrant
the church is so gorgeous inside
I got this while the bride was waiting for the formal photos and I put a grainy ‘old photo’ look to it
I Love the orangey pinkey table cloth, and of course the Chivari chairs
at the Bar
sparklers for the send off! at the last wedding I shot, the guests left early so I didn’t get any sparkler shots, but I did this weekend!
and the Rolls Royce is so classy, provided by Capital Style
Stephanie and Jeremy’s Wedding
Yesterday was a great day for a wedding! Stephanie and Jeremy got married at the Koka Booth Ampitheater at Regency Park. I had a second and third shooter with me, so you can imagine how many photos there are to go through (which I’m not finished with), but here are a few of my favourites!
their colours were reds, silver, black and white
I absolutely Love the table cloths! they also had black and white polka dots
I Love the letters on the wedding cakes and the statue is beautiful instead of a couple cake-topper
the bride’s shoes are adorable!
I
mini-paparazi during the ceremony
lanterns for the evening’s reception
Stephanie and Jeremy were so sweet and very natural in front of the camera. You can just tell how much they adore each other!
Congrats! You two are so great!
Dana & Robert’s Wedding (07-07-07)
I don’t always blog right away after a shoot, but I was super excited about my photos from Dana and Robert’s wedding, I love weddings! I was a 3rd shooter for Jessica Key which is great since you can experiment more as a third shooter, but Dana and Robert were so sweet, laid back, and a great couple! There were so many great shots that I got, and with two other photographers (Jessica and Amber) they are going to have a great album! Here are some of my faves from the night:
Dana had a gorgeous gown, and I loved the blue sash!
they were so cute and had no problem kissing for the photos!
this baby was Dana’s adorable nice
I loved the pink cushions on the gold Chivari chairs and the lime green table cloths
and the table center pieces were so cute with clear hanging beads
the brides bouquet made of orchids
there were a lot of blue accents throughout the wedding, even on the wedding cake!
Erich and Stephanie’s Wedding
Gary and I got back from Hendersonville where our good friends Erich and Stephanie had a very small wedding ceremony at the Melange Bed and Breakfast Inn.
The owners are really nice people, and I love all of the little details that were put into the place, and we had a delicious breakfast in the greenhouse room (Gary and I stayed in the Scarlet Room one night).
The luncheon was held on the outdoor patio after the ceremony
The strawberry ‘wedding’ cake was So Delicious! A couple people had seconds!
Congratulations you two! 🙂
Beth and Corey’s Rehearsal
The wedding rehearsal at the RLT Rose Garden
The rehearsal dinner was at the Irregardless Cafe where there was some jazz music played by Lou and Bobby
Lou’s beautiful guitar
Bobby was great! Gary asked if they would play “Our Song” which is ‘What a Wonderful World’ by Louis Armstrong, and he really sounded like him!
Bobby’s soprano and alto saxophones
Added Photo on 5/21/07:
I just love the detail on the base of the sax
