This is so cool! If you have cats, I found this top entry litter box which is so great. If you have dogs, most won’t be able to get in and it reduces litter on the floor around. I found it on the Petco website and we bought ours there but Petsmart also sells them. We got one but I think I’ll be getting a second one to replace the two we had been using. Just a neat product 🙂

This looks pretty cool . . .   I won’t be submitting a film, but looking forward to watching the show.

Tonight (which was really last night by now) we had our friends the Wards over for dinner.

I made a salad for the first course, the carrot soup from this post (check out my comment if you’d like to know how it turned out). A lemon basil chicken, fresh green beans, yellow squash and an apple cobbler for dessert.

We hadn’t seen them around Christmas so we exhanged gifts a little late. We gave them a martini shaker that looked like a penguin since they love birds, and then out these cute martini glasses they got us! (from Swoozies).

It was kind of funny how we got each other similar gifts. Aren’t they adorable? I love the top hat stir sticks.

Yes, Maximus (from the Gladiator), a red male beta fish/siamese fighting fish. Though mine is very sweet . . . he’s my new office pet.

He even blew bubbles telling me he was happy after I added some moss a co-worker gave me from his tank and he follows my finger . . .

He’s a cutie 🙂

P.S. I don’t think we’ll be getting any more big pets until we get a larger house . . . 😀

Gary got this picture of Flick asleep in the cubby we have in the closet. I was asleep and didn’t even know he took it until tonight. Isn’t she adorable? 😀

We hardly ever get snow, but when we woke up this morning, we had a decent dusting.

Gus was so excited when he went out this morning to see the “white STUFF on the ground” but after he had done his business he had a look of “okay I’m done, it’s cold out, and now I want to go back inside” look.

I went in to work a little later, though it was a bit slick out when I left at 8:30, but with a slower drive I made it in safely.
