Speaking about her policies:

Senator Hillary Clinton was in Raleigh this week, and I was there photographing. I have more photos coming, but here is one from the day:

Gary and I went to a friends’ house tonight and I got some photos of their baby black Australian swans which are so adorable. The daddy (also known as prince albert) was staring me down behind the fence and tried biting me through the fence slats (though I would too if I were a swan and someone was near my babies).

The babies and mommy:

I Loved the colour on these male mandarin ducks:

I forgot what type of duck these are, but they are really beautiful:

Afterwards, we went to Wildflower Pizza, and had an OMG yummy pizza with 14 toppings!! I had the half with 12 toppings, but Still! That is the most toppings I have had on a pizza ever! It was so good though!
It was so great to see Bill Clinton on Friday March 21st campaigning for his wife Hillary Clinton. He is a great speaker and it’s such a great opportunity to meet and see him up close and personal.
News media showed up early, around 11:00am to stat covering the story

Hope you wore your green today! Here is a little St. Patrick’s Day funny that just makes me smile 🙂 :
I love cooking, baking, and food in general! I’ve created a new blog, just for the recipes I try and for other info and related news.
If you ever come to dinner at our house, or we bring over a dish and I like the recipe, you should be able to find it on my other site! I don’t have a lot up there yet, but I will soon and with pictures most likely if I have time between chopping, mincing, and browning 🙂
I have a link to it under Sue-Leigh’s Links if you forget the link –>
Forgot to mention, we had friends over for dinner this past weekend. Here are some recipes to be on the look out for that I made!
Gary and I went with our friends Amanda and Sean and their friend Katherine to Laku Japanese Restaurant [http://lakurestaurant.com/].
The service was great, and we ended up ordering enough food to feed 2x or 3x more people -haha, they still talk about us.
They are a new place, only been open for about a month now but try them out for sushi or a meal, their menu is on their website.
We’re definitely going back!
