I haven’t seen the movie Transformers yet, but when Gary and I were at Walmart, he found me a transformers camera and it’s so much fun to convert him back and forth. He’s cute 🙂 and we are going to see the movie with some of my friends soon. I hear it’s really good!

Haystacks bring me back to 2nd Grade
For some reason I had a craving for haystacks, which I had in second grade, so I found a recipe online and made it last night. They are so yummy, I was afraid it was going to be one of those “I liked it when I was a kid” kind of things. Here is the recipe I tried (the recipe from cooks.com)

1 package butterscotch chips First heat peanut butter in deep pot at medium heat. Then stir in butterscotch chips, reducing heat to low. Remove pot from burner, adding in noodles a little at a time while stirring the mixture.Once combined, add in marshmallows (make sure mixture isn’t hot or they will melt) and continue to combine all. Once all ingredients are coated, spoon out onto wax paper and allow one hour for them to set. *Peanuts or raisins are also great alternatives for the marshmallows. ENJOY! Only 70 Calories 🙂 |

Out Shooting w/ Adrienne
My friend Adrienne and I went shooting for a bit this evening before going to Sushi-Tai and followed by Dairy Queen 🙂
I like to try different things when I shoot, and I liked the way this turned out:
Practically New!
Just got back from picking my car up from Just Tires. Now my car doesn’t rumble when I drive (the rear tire had a broken belt). Got a new alternator last Sunday, and a new battery on the 4th. Oh, and just filled it up with gas and got a car wash. Super! 😀
Happy 4th of July!
What are your plans?
Here is what Wikipedia has to say on Independence Day in the US.
I don’t think we will be doing anything or going anywhere. It’s usually too hot to go see fireworks, but if you are going to see the fireworks and taking some pictures, here are a few tips:
- Shoot at a low ISO (50 or 100)
- Use a tripod
- Try f 5.6 or 8 aperture
- A slower shutter speed (between 1 and 4 seconds) but not too slow or your fireworks might get washed out
I had some pictures of fireworks I took several years ago with my point and shoot at the time but I might not have saved them since I didn’t have a tripod and had only my knee to rest the camera on, so they were good photos, just a little blurry.
Show me your pictures if you take some!
You can leave a link in a comment to this post, or if I know you personally, you can show me later 🙂
Be Safe!
The things you see at a red light . . .
Check this out!
Yep, cleaning out my camera phone, check out this picture . . . Zack and I were out shopping (may 5th) and coming back we happened on a ham and yam festival where there was a car that someone turned into a hog which is interesting to say the least -hahah and they even had a spring for a curly tail! 😛
Gary’s a sweetie
Super Fun!
Just got back from my parents house. . . we celebrated Gary’s birthday at their house. Dinner and ice-cream cake, gary opened his birthday gifts, and followed by put-put and arcade games (shooting, driving, etc). No pictures, but we had a great time!
I can’t wait for my birthday 🙂
