Wednesday night was the Leaders Building Leaders Event with the College of Management’s EEI at NC State . . . there was a good turnout, and interesting business plans.
And the Sweet Reminder boxes of cookies are always a big hit!

Today I had a photo shoot with Regan, and Mark came out again. The first scheduled shoot for the two of them, we had rain and tornado warnings, and the second time Regan’s alternator blew so Mark and I went ahead and did a shoot and so he came out again to do the dual shots which is what we did today 🙂
We got a lot of shots, but it’s late so here are just a couple!
Today was fun, but tiring. I went to bed at 3:30am last night . . . starbucks > movie w/ Zack > met up with people at Mitch’s > then we all went to the Marikesh > went with Adrienne to a birthday celebration > then we met up with some friends at east village > on the computer before bed.
This morning I was out with my mom > had lunch > and then a photo shoot with Mark. Here are some shots from todays shoot:
and the black and white version
Adrienne and I went to the local JC Raulston Arboretum for a walk and a shoot yesterday . . . this was the side of a really neat looking urn/vase/pot in one of the gardens:
And this was a random marble statue in another part of the garden:
I had my camera with me today at work so I thought I’d take a picture of Maximus. I don’t know if he has grown much since I first got him . . . but I would have to say he’s the coolest fish ever! Though when I was a kid I had a goldfish named Kelly, which I think I was quite fond of . . .
and I went to the local Arboretum with a friend tonight, so check back later for pics 🙂
I would have photos up, but I have had 4 shoots canceled this month! Granted, two shoots were on the same day and are going to be combined, but still!
Last week, was going to go shooting with a friend, but of course it had to rain that night, so instead we went to Moes watched a movie, and had soy ice-cream.
Last weekend Gary and his dad (with truck) trimmed the bushes in front of our house . . . we will be painting the house soon which will be nice (so we are prepping) . . . we are thinking a yummy warm, buttery yellow.
As always we have dinners with friends and family, and a wedding coming up at the end of the month, and two of the shoots rescheduled and Gus got a bath and trim on Sunday.
I am also fairly psyched about my new glade car scented oil (air freshener) in ‘tropical moment’. I was afraid it would be a nauseating sickly sweet scent that would make me want to hurl every time i got into my car, but it’s actually quite pleasant which makes me happy.
Oh, and the ever fun Taxes 😡
