~ Unavailable Until November 3rd

It’s a Friday, and I am already “on vacation”  well at least my mind is – and not like other Fridays.  My wonderful husband and I will be relaxing on a Caribbean Cruise for the next week and I will not have internet or phone service.  We leave for Miami bright and early in the morning tomorrow (actually dark at 4am).  We have a packed evening of shopping, picking up suits and pants, last minute things, laundry , packing, etc.

We have been ready for this trip since January of this year and in less than 24 hours we will be starting a fun,  relaxing, and warm! trip.  We’ve booked a few excursions, and I’m sure we will book more once we get on the ship.

All orders that came through have been sent out and should arrive this week.  Any orders placed next week will be processed when I return on Monday November 3rd and I will return your e-mails starting on Monday as well.

Check back later for posts and images from the Caribbean!
Any bets on if I will see Johnny Depp?  Pirates of the . . . ?  ok maybe not : )

off to pack!

~ What’s wrong with this header?

So I check my spam folder almost as regularly as I check my e-mail inbox to see if anything slipped in where it shouldn’t have and then I empty my spam folder.

I thought this was a pretty funny/odd spam header and not sure how anyone would be tempted to open an e-mail about Christian Dating AND Flirting with Sexy singles.

ha, my giggle for the day 🙂

~ Inspired Even at Dinner

Everyone says fortune cookies aren’t accurate, but we all scramble for ‘our’ cookie to crack open the crisp golden baked cookie to reveal a small slip of paper that may have a fortune or random saying.  I love it when compared to the people I am with’s fortune – mine seems to be the most accurate for me.  Check out the inspiring fortune under the bottle cap of my Jone’s Soda bottle from dinner the other day . . . yes Jones, I think so too 🙂

~ My New Toy!

I love my new toy!

I still have and love my blackberry but i also love a lot of the features on the ipod touch.

pros for the ipod touch but con for the blackberry:

  • music synced up with itunes and easy to purchase new music
  • connects to available wifi for internet and web browsing is a lot better
  • great for movies, games, photos

cons for the ipod but pros for the blackberry

  • better for e-mail, better app
  • typing for e-mail and texting is way faster with buttons
  • i can tether up to allow my laptop to get wireless
  • uses a standard firewire cable to connect

so i am all about having two devices.  it actually comes in super handy when i am on my blackberry and checking out the calendar on my iphone.  i’m sure i’ll think of more things to add to the pros and cons for each so i’ll add them as i think of them.

(p.s. creds to my mom for paying me for cutting her hair all at once so i could turn around and spend it on something i really wanted ever since i found out you could get internet on it – seeing Jane Johnson’s 🙂

~ A New Cover for my Blackberry

I love my Blackberry World Edition, it’s a staple of my lifeStyLe, and obviously I’m on it all day, every day 🙂

I saw the silicon like, soft plastic cover for it on Jen Thompson‘s blackberry, so yesterday when I was out on a shopping spree with my mom (for her bday) we stopped in at the cellular store at the mall and I got one, which I absolutely love.  It’s all smooth and will hopefully protect my phone from any slight drops in the future 😉

~ Happy Birthday Amanda!

Gary and I met our friend Amanda and her husband and friends for a birthday brunch at Tir Na Nog Irish Pub.  Gary had to go back to work, and some of the friends had to leave but I stayed, as well as a few others.

We played a few games of darts/cricketeer in teams.  Amanda and I were in a team, and Katharine and Elizabeth were in a team.  We were down to the last scores where each team had to hit the bulls eye – and I scored the winning bulls eye for our team!

The darts don’t always go where I aim for, so I was pretty excited 🙂

~ Pixel

I downloaded the images off of my point and shoot and found some photos I had taken of my dwarf hamster Pixel. This was when I had gotten him the linking wooden pieces for him to climb on . . . he’s not much of a chewer.
