We didn’t plant them, they just started sprouting up, these lovely little bursts of yellow in the front yard. They close up in the evening, but I love seeing them every morning.

Had cooking (조리) class this morning and we made a seafood dish. The best part of cooking class is eating what we cooked 😀
Also, I learned that the spoon is to the left of the chopsticks, and they belong on the right side of the place setting 🙂

Later in the afternoon was choir (합창) and then dance class . . .

Tonight I met up with some friends to see a friend of ours (from out of town) playing with their band Elonzo, and after that, a few of us went and got dinner.

We stopped in at Mystic Seaport in Connecticut (코네티컷) on our way to New York (뉴욕)

and had lunch at the S&P Oyster Company outside on the patio terrace which was delightful, since the weather was perfect 🙂

Gary’s grandad (할아버지) used to take him when he was little to ‘The Ice Cream (아이스크림) Machine’, so we stopped in for a snack, which was so filling, we skipped lunch today -haha
In Boston, Gary took me to my first Red Sox baseball (야구) game at Fenway Stadium. We took the Boston (보스턴) Subway (the T), getting off at the Kenmore stop. Not the Fenway stop -apparently that is NOT the stop you should get off at.
Red Sox lost to the White Sox 7-3 and it was pretty humid but it was cool seeing the stadium ㅅ_ㅅ

I upgraded my phone because my 2 years were up, and I was due for an upgrade (-yay!)
I went from a Droid (the one with the keyboard) to an iPhone (thank you Verizon and apple . . . finally)
I still like some of the features of having a droid based phone, and I still dislike some of the features the iPhone doesn’t have, but nothing is perfect. Can’t find the perfect gadget, can’t always find the perfect purse . . .
Anyway. Coming from a Google based phone, where you just sign in with your google e-mail and the contacts auto import along with mail and calendar, I did that with my iPhone and none of my contacts showed up.
I did a Google search, and found the steps to import by singing in by using Microsoft Exchange instead of Gmail:

My little dog decided at 3am, that he needed to go out. It took a few attempts for him to wake me up and keep me up enough to take him out, but I was half asleep when I picked him up and was on my way down stairs.
The bottom of my feet were dry, and on the first step, I felt my foot only make it half way on the step – but by then it was too late and I was quickly on my way down the stairs. It was partially the screaming down the stairs, and partially the thump. thump, thump that Gary heard and came to my rescue halfway through the rest of my fall down the stairs. Once I finally stopped, I was dizzy and nauseous and he had to help me back upstairs to lay down and recoup. I basically fell all the way down and my bum’s been sore all day and I have these lovely rug burns on my left arm.
But at least I didn’t fall on my head or something 🙂
