Gary and I went to a friend’s beach house for the weekend. Got a great picture of the moon with no light pollution and Richard did a little juggling without burning anything up!

So here is the picture they take before you get on the boat (with photo quality very lacking) and then charge you an arm and a leg for. We gave the large original to Mem and Pep (the grandparents) and Linda took the smaller one and scanned it, then e-mailed it:

David, Erik, Kerri, Linda, Nicole, Gary, Lisa, Sue-Leigh

We went to see Aunt Jean and Uncle Charlie, and there was a Doe and two fawns in their back yard. I was only able to get a few last minute shots before they ran off into the woods.

Gary and I drove to the Boston/Rhode Island area over labour day weekend to see his family, and we stayed with his cousin Lisa. One of his other cousin’s Linda and her husband flew up from Florida for a cousin’s get together on Sunday and stayed with Lisa as well. 5 people-one bathroom. On Sunday, 8 people-one bathroom. Not too bad.
Friday
Got in to RI, saw Mem and Pep (grandparents), Rita and Lucille, and Aunt Leona and Uncle Henry, showed everyone wedding pictures, and then drove back to Boston.

Saturday
Gary and Erik installed Lisa’s dining room chandelier in the morning, and Gary also installed a dimmer switch. Then Gary and I with Lisa, Linda and Erik took the T to Harvard Square and had lunch at John Harvard’s. All the cousins met later in the afternoon to go on a Duck Boat Tour (http://www.bostonducktours.com/) around Boston. We had John Lenon as our driver and tour guide. Afterwards we all went to Lisa’s to watch wedding videos, look at pictures, and have fajitas, rice, beans, a 3 layer mexican dip, salsa, sangria, and margaritas. We had a lovely hostess.

Sunday
We drove to RI saw his Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bob and then to see his Aunt Jean and Uncle Charlie who had a very delicious stew with bread and some home-made bannana nut bread. Afterwards we went back to his grandparents house and Gary replaced/installed a ceiling fan. Then Lisa, Linda, and Erik came by later. We had had fresh corn, fresh from-their-garden tomato sandwiches, fresh peaches from the farmers market, and a few other things.

Monday
Gary and I left Lisa’s around 6:30am to get to Mem and Pep’s house and had breakfast at a breakfast place nearby. Then we were on the road. Met my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin for Lunch on the way back and got in at midnight.

Ariel, Chris, Sue-Leigh, Sherry, Gary (with bed-head since we got up so early)
Back to work on Tuesday . . . very hard to get going.
In Boston, Lisa’s cat Finn and I were hanging out on the couch while a dining room chandelier was being installed
