The weekend of the 29th and 30th Gary and I went to Lake Lure. An invitation from some friends as a wedding gift.

We stayed at the Lodge on Lake Lure, had dinner on friday evening at Vivi, a 1.8 million dollar house for sale which had a beautiful mountain view.

Saturday we went for a pontoon boat ride in the morning complete with mimosas. Afterward we went to black mountain for a bit of shopping and then a black tie dinner event in the evening.

Sunday morning I woke up at 6:30am to try and get some pictures of the mountain, but it was so grey and cloudy I didn’t get a sunrise. After breakfast we drove back home. Overall a really fun trip 🙂
